Late autumn in Onuma.............
A Eurasian Treecreeper in Onuma yesterday.................
Lots of resident species around in the forest: 4 species of Woodpecker, Varied and Long-tailed Titsm Nuthatches and this Treecreeper.............
This is a tricky bird to photograph but this one posed in some nice autumnal light.
Also around were the first Dusky Thrush of the season, a flock of Siskin, several Great Egret, the usual common ducks, Great-crested and Black-necked Grebes and about 40 or 40 Whooper Swans, most of which must have arrived in the last few days............
The clouds rolled in later on and we headed back home. There were some Goldcrests around in one of the parks just outside town..........
