Eagles in the mist...............

Up in Yakumo this morning it was very misty................


Although it looked very atmospheric it was difficult to even see eagles let alone photograph them.

It was very quiet everywhere birdwise. A female Smew at Onuma and a Red-necked Grebe in Hakodate were the most noteworthy species. Otherwise just common stuff like this Great Egret at Onuma.............

And this Glaucous-winged Gull near Hakodate...........
