Some Eagle BIFs
The eagles are slowly getting more approachable. Though of course they still generally fly off..........
The weather was very nice on Monday allowing fast shutter speeds..........
These are all Stellers Sea Eagles, the middle one is an immature.
The Stellers seem to be outnumbering the White-taileds this year. Here's an adult White-tailed at least.
We were concentrating on the eagles. Not much else around. A few groups of Whooper Swans (one of which included 2 White-fronted Geese), Crested Kingfisher, the usual ducks and gulls,Eastern Buzzard, Great Egret, Brown Dipper, Japanese Wagtail and White-backed Woodpecker.
We found fresh bear tracks in the snow upstream and the remains of the Salmon it had been eating.
