Mild weather returns
After a lot of snow last week it was mild again today.............
The eagles were pretty active at Yakumo.
There seems to be plenty of food for them this winter................
A few were close to the road...............
Others not so...............
Other stuff at Yakumo included Crested Kingfisher and the usual common winter stuff. At Onuma there was a flock of Rustic Bunting and a few Hawfinches. Ar Esan yesterday it was raining and the only birds of note were a couple of Mountain Hawk Eagles high in the sky, a few Harlequin Ducks and a lone White-tailed Eagle.

These Steller's Sea Eagles are an annual treat, whether in snow or not.
