Long-toed Stint creeping around..........
Our quest for the Spoon-billed Sandpiper was unsuccessful but there were some compensations...........
One being this Long-toed Stint.
It was quietly and unobtrusively moving around the flotsam and jetsam..........
I hadn't photographed one for quite a while................
You can see how it gets its name...............
They are usually pretty shy but we could approach it easily in the car............
It looked very different from all the Red-necked Stints in the same locale..........
It was dark, very windy and raining..............
