An early bath
We were up early and in one of the local parks this morning to check for spring migrants................
And despite the westerlies and beautiful warm spring weather there were hardly any migrants around at all. I did briefly see a male Siberian Rubythroat and my wife thinks she saw a Japanese Robin but that's it.
There were several Varied Tits taking early morning baths.................
And then drying off...................
There were still a few Siskin and Crossbill around...................

You will be quite looking forward to seeing Blue and Greats after those Varied Tits? Hope it was up here for you. It will be warm where I'm going.
ReplyDeleteWell it will ne nice to see Blue Tits again but I'm most looking forward to the seabirds on the Farnes, the Avocets at Marshside, Marstons Pedigree and other similar brews, Cadburys Twirl and other similar confectionary and a wide selection of quality cheeses........................
