Some group shots..............
Some shots from Oshamanbe yesterday afternoon...................
I took a few group shots of some common waders..............
I was surprised to see the overwintering Dunlin were still present and almost all were in summer plumage.
They look so much better at this time of year.................
There was a flock of a dozen or so Grey Tailed Tattler on the beach too.
I did a few shots of single birds too................
And here's a pair shot to finish off with.

DeleteI saw some waders fly up the Shinano river last week but I can't find seaside anywhere that's not concreted. I worry they have no place to stop and feed around here. I wonder where they all come from?
ReplyDeleteThey come from SE Asia and even Australia................some can feed on manmade rivers, I've even seen a Dunlin on a picnic table in the mountains...................
DeleteA Dunlin in breeding plumage is truly a handsome bird.
ReplyDeleteEspecially the Siberian subspecies.................
