On the way back from Tomakomai we stopped at Oshamanbe again. The 2 Great Knot were still there...................
The light was better than the day before. They seemed to be enjoying some Hokkaido worms............
And taking a bath too.................
Why is this species so tame?
superb shots! The last one is very sweet; you would hardly think it just ate a worm...
ReplyDeleteIt ate a lot of worms...........................
DeleteThese are splendid!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteFantastic! As you know, just seeing one here would be mega (the last one was earlier this year in Norfolk and was always far away - the first for UK was nicknamed "Great Spot"!).
ReplyDeleteRed Knot are pretty scarce here altjhough not 'mega' (I've seen a couple)................
DeleteWhat a satisfying session with some very nice results.
