Another day with the Buntings..........
Both species of Bunting were still around on Monday...........
The weather wasn't great. Dull and grey in the morning and snowing in the afternoon. And cold............
The Snow Buntings were impossible to get close to again but at least they were on slightly cleaner snow...............
The 2 Lapland Buntings were easier to approach but their feeding style was very different and most of the time they were hidden in the short grass only occasionally popping out..............
There was also a small flock of 10 or 15 Asian Rosy Finch but they were very flighty and I couldn't get any shots.
Not much else around: 1 roadside White-tailed Eagle on the way to the beach, several Smew at Onuma and the usual common ducks and gulls here and there..................
