I had a couple of hours on the beach at Kamiiso where the wader total consisted of one Red Necked Stint.
The waders seem to have given the Hakodate area a wide berth this year............
At least it was in nice light.
Just before these shots were taken I went into the local camera store and ordered the 7D Mark2...............should be here in 'early' November they said......................
It'll be a kind of late birthday present. I'm 46 tomorrow. Nearer 50 than 40................my god.

Deletethe red necked stint posed well for you, at least. Congrats on the birthday. My next one is 60! I loved the 50s and am expecting the 60s to be just as much fun. I do have to work harder at staying in shape as time goes on. Your new camera will keep you active! Cheers.
